Terms of Service

Last updated: February 22, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using SOLO at trysolo.dev ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms at any time, and continued use constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Service

SOLO is a developer tool that automates feedback-to-code workflows. The Service includes:

  • An embeddable feedback widget for collecting user feedback
  • An AI-powered agent that analyzes feedback and generates pull requests
  • A dashboard for managing feedback, releases, and integrations
  • Release notes generation and distribution across connected platforms
  • Team chat with AI assistance

3. Account Registration

You must sign in with a valid GitHub account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activities that occur under it. You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.

4. Plans & Billing

SOLO offers Free, Starter, and Pro plans. Paid plans are billed through Polar.sh on a monthly or annual basis. By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorize recurring charges. You may cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice. Usage limits (feedback items, AI agent runs, integrations) vary by plan and are enforced automatically.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
  • Use the AI agent to generate malicious code or exploit vulnerabilities
  • Exceed rate limits or abuse the API through automated means beyond normal usage
  • Resell access to the Service without authorization

6. Your Code & Data

You retain all ownership rights to your code, repositories, and feedback data. By using the Service, you grant SOLO a limited license to access your repositories (via the GitHub App installation) and process your code solely for the purpose of providing the Service (generating fixes, analyzing feedback, creating pull requests).

We do not claim ownership over any code generated by the AI agent — generated pull requests belong to you. Source code is processed in-memory and not stored permanently on our servers.

7. Third-Party Integrations

The Service integrates with third-party platforms (GitHub, Slack, Discord, Gmail, Sentry, Linear, etc.). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service. We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

8. AI-Generated Content

The AI agent generates code suggestions, pull requests, and analysis. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, bugs, or security issues. You are responsible for reviewing and testing all AI-generated code before merging it into your projects. SOLO is not liable for any damages resulting from the use of AI-generated content.

9. Service Availability

We aim to provide reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of planned downtime.

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SOLO AND ITS OPERATORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SOLO, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising out of your use of the Service or violation of these Terms.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though we will retain data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation before pursuing formal legal action.
